Book Review — 21 Days to a More Disciplined Life

I read a gem of an e-book by Crystal Paine at Money Saving Mom21 Days to a More Disciplined Life(affiliate links marked with an asterisk) because I wanted to become a more disciplined person, especially when it comes to improving my health and being more organized.

I have a long way to go, but this eBook has helped me make more steps toward my goals.

I recommend 21 Days to a More Disciplined Life*. Here’s why:

  • It’s a short, easily digestible book. It’s broken down into 21 feasible steps. I am a fan of short and easily digestible.
  • The advice is practical. There are no “leap buildings in a single bound” kind of ideas. The suggestions found in the book can help anyone needing practical ideas on getting from the typical “not getting it done” to “done” without requiring anyone to become another person.
  • The linked resources are a bonus. This is one of the great benefits of an e-book. Instead of “tuck this resource in the back of your mind to read someday,”  it is click and be instantly at the resource. She cites resources she found helpful. My favorite is the link to the youtube video “Just do it.”
  • At each new section, she answers another “yeah, but…” of common roadblocks to a disciplined-less life. It encouraged me to take up (again) some discipline life-boosters. I added a few new tools to my expanding tool belt toward discipline too.
  • It’s $4.99 and worth the money and time to start making progress in becoming the who you know you ought to be. (Go check it out. Just do it.)
  • It is designed to be used again and again. There is no fantasy goal of 21 days to perfect. Taking one baby step at a time, one 21-day period at a time, it is possible to become more disciplined.

I plan on re-reading 21 Days to a More Disciplined Life* and applying the principles found there to enhance my efforts toward having a more disciplined life. I hope you will join me in growing.

Note: I was given a free copy of this book to review. My opinion is my own. Unlike a biased view of my kids (the best in the world), the review is my honest thoughts and reflections.
